What a fun wedding! Gretchen and Mark were married on Saturday at the beautiful Holy Rosary Church in NW, with their reception at the City Club of Washington at Franklin Square. Everything was running smoothly until the transportation decided to forget to pick up half the guests so the ceremony started about 40 minutes late. From there we were on a mission to get some fun shots around the National Mall while Mark had a surprise for Gretch waiting in the wings. ![]()
Enjoy the photos!!

I am currently working on a portable “photo booth” set-up that I will be offering to my wedding couples as an a la carte option. I was having issues with my lighting on my first try with my friends, but we had a blast anyway
Once all the logistics are figured out I will let you all know!

Today I am featured on the oh-so fabulous Ritzy Bee Blog. The ritzy bee blog (love the name!) is run by DC area event planner Maria Cooke. If you are planning your wedding, or just love all things wedding like me, check it out! It’s chock full of goodies and inspiration.
Thanks Maria!!
I love the skit on Mad TV with Stewart – the grown man-boy, who always shouts – LOOK WHAT I CAN DO! Well I am so proud of myself today I feel the need to shout – hey blog stalkers – look what i can do!
I installed a dimmer switch in my dining room – ALL BY MYSELF ![]()
So no electrical fires yet – although the stairwell lights will not turn on. Not sure what that’s about! (oooops)

I know I post photos of Pancakes a lot, but come on, she is so cute! Today she somehow randomly got herself covered in smiley face stickers. I don’t even know where they came from. Unless they slipped out of the magazine I was reading I really think they just materialized so I would have another cute thing to photograph ![]()
She managed to get them stuck on her – everywhere. Getting them all off her however was no fun task.
To all of you out there who love clothes, fashion, and style, this site is for you. The Sartorialist. The man who writes it was in the fashion industry for 15 years before focusing more on photography. He now roams the streets and fashion shows in NYC, Milan, Paris, etc. He photographs people as they are, where he stopped them (sounds like the best job ever!). Each photograph says something different. And each photograph gives me some fabulous fashion sense to admire. Here is a recent photo from his blog.

It kind of reminds me of the LOOK BOOK in the New York Magazine I devour every week. Enjoy!
Our Internet has been down since last night, so I haven’t been able to check my emails. As soon as it’s back up I will reply to all inquiries. Joey is posting this for me since clearly, I have no Internet

A Leap Year Wedding!!
Junellyn and Tom were married this past Friday in a lovely intimate ceremony at their church in Burke, followed by a classy reception at the Hyatt at Reston Town Center. They are the sweetest couple and it is so obvious how precious they are to one another. It was a fabulous day!
