I’ve know Kristen since the 7th grade, we were both on the red team (i think it was red!) and had Mr. Burrows, the funniest teacher ever. After high school we lost touch for awhile but have been hanging out more and more lately. I love this girl, she is the best! I’ve just gotten to know Morgan a bit this past year and I gotta say, Morgan you rock!
We met at the Washington Center in Gaithersburg, MD late Sunday afternoon. I had never been there before as MD is not my area, but it was awesome. There were so many cool places to shoot and we got some great stuff.
I’m holding you two to dinner, but drinks are on me!!!
And finally my FAV pic…this is their favorite restaurant. All you need in life is some yummy burritos and someone to make you laugh. I stand by that!!!!
Sunday afternoon I met up with Megan and Ian in Old Town Alexandria for their engagement shoot. We had a great time walking around and talking. Let me tell you that Megan has the best laugh ever. I adore them both
Our goal was to get some good Fall shots, and I think we succeeded!
Check out the spider above their heads
Apparently there was a doggy costume party going on too:
Thanks for such a fun afternoon you guys….. I can’t wait for the wedding on St. Patricks Day!!!!!!
Today I met up with Chris & Leslie in Clifton for their engagement photos. My mom used to own a store there so being there always brings back great memories!
It was a gorgeous day, sunny and not too chilly. We just walked around the town and got a lot of great shots. I loved it
I can’t wait for their wedding next month!!
I met Miranda and Jon at the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna. It was a nice clear day. I had never been there before and was just floored at how gorgeous it was. We had a great time walking around and taking in all the beauty…..and bugs! For being chilly out we were surprised at how many bugs were flying around……and Miranda does NOT like bugs! :)
I can’t wait to see you guys in a couple weeks for your wedding!!!!!!!
Carolyn & Nader got married on Saturday. They are the sweetest couple. He is very outgoing and she is a bit shy…..they compliment each other perfectly! We had kind of a dreary day weather wise, all clouds and drizzle, but it didn’t matter, everyone could feel the love in the air. The reception was held at the Old South County Club in MD and was under a tent on the huge deck outside, but with all the dancing going on no one was chilly!
Carolyn’s mom made these super cute comfy shoes for her.
Mr. & Mrs. for the first time!
Taking a break during the formals
the cake
the chair dance – check out the sword in Nader’s hand!
the candle dance, this was so cool!! (for women only!!!)
Nader couldn’t stop kissing her all night
First Dance
Dylan the ring bearer. I think I am going to hire him, he didn’t put that camera down all night!
And finally the love birds…they necked all night too!!
Congrats you two! Have an amazing honeymoon!!!!
10-1-06 was Joey and my one year wedding anniversary! I was slow on blogging this because I wanted to download pics from my point&shoot but couldn’t find the cord. Any-who…….He suprised me by having a limo pick us up and the driver was the same one we had on our wedding day! (he surprised me with yummy champagne too!) We went to the Phoenix Park Hotel/Dubliner on Capital Hill for dinner (where our weddding reception was), the headed over to Eye Bar to have some drinks and dance. It was a blast!
I love you Joey!!!!!!!
Pics of us in the limo……………..
one of my fav pics from our wedding day..
ladies, if you find a man who will jam to the GREASE megamix with you, keep him
So last night I went to a networking party at the Meridian House in DC hosted by theknot.com. They spared no expense, it was so beautiful. They had the best of the best handle this party. I had a blast meeting other people in the wedding industry and hanging with other photogs/florists/coordinators I have worked with in the past. I didn’t bring my camera but of course I wish I had. As soon as I find some pics to post up I will…there were a bunch of people walking around taking them.
